Rubicon is excited to announce our participation in the launch of the region's first public and universal EV charging stations, marking a giant leap forward in e-mobility for the province.

On May 24th, the Automotive Industry Development Centre Eastern Cape (AIDC-EC) unveiled the inaugural station at Dan's Lodge in Tsolo, followed swiftly by the second station opening its doors just a day later at the Virgin Active Club on Esplanade in Quigney, East London.

These strategically chosen locations ensure convenient access for EV drivers throughout the Eastern Cape. This initiative is just the beginning, with 13 charging stations planned for rollout along key national routes within the province, paving the way for a seamless e-mobility experience.
